If you are looking for a day in the mountains for just you or your family we offer bespoke days tailored to your exact requirements. The benefit of these days over open events is they can be at right pace for you and the routes can be whatever you want them to be.
Whether you're here on holiday and want a simple family walk, you want to summit a particular mountain or are keen to explore the more remote parts of The Lake District, Snowdonia or Highlands please get in touch.
Popular walks are: Blencathra via Sharp Edge, Helvellyn, Scafell Pike, The Fairfield horse shoe, The Langdale Pikes, Snowdon, The Welsh 3000's, Ben Nevis, Ben Macdui to name but a few.
We'll provide a highly experienced guide as a friend for your day out.

Navigation
Being able to use a map and compass effectively is the foundation of independence and safety in the mountains, whether low in the valley or high on the ridges and summits.
We tailor our courses to your goals.We can offer you bespoke courses; from an introduction to navigation to micro navigation for Mountain Leaders.
We also offer night navigation courses to allow you to gain confidence if your walk goes on a bit longer than planned or you've got some big overnight trips planned.
For these courses we like to have a small ratio of client to instructor so we can give high quality coaching to all members.

Scrambling
Scrambling is the grey area between walking and climbing. As such there needs to be a lot of sound judgement to stay safe and on route.
We can take you on simple grade 1s like Striding Edge and Sharp edge or to full-on adventures on grade 3s like Pinnacle Ridge on St Sunday, North ridge of Tryfan, Aonach Eagach, Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis or Curved Ridge on Buchaille Etive Mor
